CROSSROADS OF KNOWLEDGE

Crossroads of Knowledge was founded to create meeting places where the life paths of instructors, mentors and professionals with specific interests can intersect with students and like-minded peers to exchange knowledge. Through a combination of advanced management techniques and cutting-edge technologies, Crossroads of Knowledge removes geographical barriers through a collaborative environment of rich media, including real-time video-conferencing, three-dimensional avatars, application-sharing, digital whiteboards and a myriad of virtual classroom tools.

Our first iteration is Crossroads of Learning, where instructors tutor students in a secure, interactive online environment, enhancing academic performance at all grade levels. Each curriculum centers on the team involvement of the people to whom the student matters most: instructors, parents, peers and friends. Unlike other tutoring services, Crossroads of Learning supports both instructors and students, so that each gains the maximum benefit from their course work and their resulting relationships. The system supplies each student and teacher with a variety of services, including parent notifications, ongoing third-party participation, advisories, billing systems and customized programs that are operated transparently to assure maximum performance for everyone involved.
